POSITION SUMMARY

My client's European activities are growing rapidly, and they are currently seeking a full-time, home-based or office- based Clinical Research Associate to join their Clinical Operations team in Leuven, Belgium. This position will work on a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. CLIENT DESCRIPTION

My client is a full-service global Clinical Research Organization (CRO) led by medical, regulatory, and operational experts with deep therapeutic experience. With over 2,300 employees across 43 different offices. My client has offices and laboratories throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Africa, and the Americas. DUTIES AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct pre-study, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits for research sites;
  • Perform source document verification and case report form review;
  • Perform regulatory document review;
  • Conduct study drug inventory;
  • Perform adverse event and serious adverse event reporting and follow-up; and
  • Assess patient recruitment and retention.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Broad knowledge of medical terminology and clinical patient management;
  • Basic knowledge of drug therapy techniques and clinical research methodologies;
  • At least 2 years of proven track record of monitoring experience.
  • Travel around Belgium
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft® Office and general computer literacy;
  • Outstanding communication and Presentation skills;
  • Must be detail-oriented and efficient in time management;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French and Dutch;
  • Must have a minimum of a university degree in a health or life science related field;
  • Proven track record of demonstrating experience in clinical patient management, protocol, CRF, preparing of ISF, documentation to be submitted to competent authorities.
