Help us put the U in communication.

We are actively looking for a Clinical Communication Specialist (Patient Recruitment Writer) This role can be based in Worthing or Uxbridge with flexibility of homeworking. The successful candidate will be required to travel to Worthing as and when required

We create medical communications that connect. Our materials engage the audience and inspire action, and we’re searching for someone who can share our vision.

We specialise in simplifying the complex. That means turning dense, clinical information into accessible, jargon-free text. You’ll be generating content for diverse audiences – whether patients, physicians or other healthcare professionals – across multiple media channels.

So one day you could be developing content for a poster or brochure, the next writing a script for an app or TV ad.

This is a hybrid role, so there’ll be plenty of project management alongside the writing.

You’ll also be involved in every aspect of the communication lifecycle – from project kick-off, through branding and design, to QC and delivery of materials across the globe.

Multi-tasking, great time management and a flexible approach are therefore a given.

We’re after someone who can hit the ground running, so a confident self-starter with at least five years’ experience in a similar role is essential.

You’ll also be familiar with the pharma industry and be comfortable communicating with stakeholders across all levels.

We’re offering a competitive salary, bonus scheme and flexible working options. So if you have what it takes to become a Clinical Communications Specialist at PAREXEL and would like to join our dedicated team in a dynamic, fast-changing environment, send your CV with a cover letter to Agnieszka Tyra at

Experience Preferred

• Good cultural awareness and ethics

• Broad financial awareness and understanding of budgets

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

• Some experience with project management systems such as Project Place, BaseCamp, Trello etc.
