  • Are you an experienced industry medical affairs MD, who has already sucessfully worked at AD/Director level or Medical Affairs Head with a growth UK business portfolio?

Our growth client, with an established range of products and brands globally is currently building within the European HQ in London - Preparing for mutiple launches and product introductions in several therautic areas.

Do you seek a Medical Director position within a truly patient focussed organisation? A company that has an exceptional team ethic and a business with an exciting portfolio of products to launch within Europe?

Our client seeks an experienced Industry UK based MD for a Medical Director position for UK and Ireland - covering all planned and future product launches and brand builds.

You will be a key member of the local leadership team and will contribute to the medical development of the commercial and business strategy for the UK business.

Your responsibilities will include - development of the certifications of all commercial activities in the UK

This UK Medical Director opportunity is a result of continued upscale within our clients developing EU business portfolio.

You will have proven leadership experience, plus strong EU/Country level Medical Affairs experience - Including building a Medical Affairs team, and setting budgets. Together with proven launch + pre/post registration clinical experience and marketed experience across various therapeutic areas. Sign off experience desirable.

Additional key skills required include:

A very strong open, collaborative and team ethic work mentality, together with excellent scientific/development support abilities and knowledge sharing abilities within a group.

Desired background:

  • Experienced MD with Medical Affairs / Post registration clinical experience
  • 4+ years UK experience at level of - AD/Medical Director, Medical Affairs Head
  • 7+ Years combined industry experience - Preferably within an innovative healthcare sector
  • Therapeutic experience desirable within any of: Oncology, Infectious disease, Pain, Women’s Health
  • Solid working knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice and associated EU laws/regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of the NHS environment and/or other EU markets
  • Additional Devices experience – Beneficial
