Job Summary:

We are looking for some additional support to join our expanding technology team on a 6 month FTC to assist with a number of client projects.  


The opportunity:
We are looking for some additional support to join our expanding technology team on a 6 month FTC to assist with a number of client projects.  

The role:
You will be responsible for the import of data from one system (client/fileshare) to another, this will typically be into our own bespoke PhlexEview software.  You will work closely with other members of the Technology team to plan and prepare data, resolve document and data issues, request attribute creation, perform imports and reconcile import projects following documented procedures.

A full job description will be provided ahead of interviews but in brief, your role will include:

  • Taking ownership of client specific import projects under the guidance of the Technical Development Director 
  • Defining and create new approaches to make document preparation, attribute creation and reconciliation procedures more efficient
  • Working with Technology stakeholders to process and complete document import tasks
  • Completing reconciliation activities to ensure import completion is fully reconciled

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • A basic understanding of character encoding
  • Technical familiarity with PDF document format (experience of Adobe tools beneficial)
  • Technical familiarity with PDF security capabilities and manipulation 
  • Technical familiarity with Office type formats and how to manipulate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The ideal candidate will:
•    Have a minimum of 2 years SQL experience
•    Be an effective communicator at all levels 
•    Demonstrate strong organisational skills, able to handle multiple projects at the same time
•    Have experience of document management platforms, and Web technology a benefit.
