The Global Project Manager will oversee one or more global or international studies and will therefore be responsible for the planning of project activities,coordinating of the project plan and reporting or progress. The Global Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the project until completion, and activities will include managing a multi disciplinary team. This team can include other project management staff such as regional project managers. Ideally will have experience within one or more of; Infectious Disease, Oncology, Inflammatory Disease and Haemophilia

SUPERVISION REQUIRED/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY:
The Global Project Manager may function as part of a team of Project Managers providing supervision to other Project Managers e.g. Global Project Manager on project specific issues. The Global Project Manager will be responsible for the management of the Project Team in their capacity to perform the study.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
• A BSc or BA degree in a biomedical or related life science
• Excellent understanding of the principles of project management
• Good clinical knowledge with an understanding of medical terminology
• Good computer literacy with working knowledge of PCs, Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent oral and written communication and co-ordination skills with proven ability to chair international meetings
• Experience working in an international team environment under time and resource pressures.
• Understanding of cultural aspects relevant to working in an international environment
• Ability to lead a global project team
