Job Summary:

Permanent opportunity within a global CRO for an experienced line manager within Biostatistics.

Job Background

We have a great opportuntiy for an experienced line manager who has strong experience Biostatistics, gained in a CRO or Pharma company.

This role is office based in East Berkshire (Slough, Maidenhead)

This role is to be responsible for the selection, training, development and performance management for a team of Biostatisticians across Europe (both office based and field based).

Responsibities and requirements:

  • Efficiently and effectively coordinate statistical activities for multiple projects
  • Manage broad based projects such as NDA submissions and multi-protocol programs
  • Interact with project team and line manager to identify project priorities and communicate such activities and associated timelines to departmental management
  • Establish, maintain and strengthen a professional working relationship with clients, potential clients, regulatory agencies, vendors etc.
  • Define achievable goals and tasks related to a departmental objective or initiative as well as identify areas for improvement (e.g. SOPs, processes…)
  • Maintain awareness of project budgets and tasks and monitor budgets
  • Represent department and company in multi-disciplinary settings and meetings
  • Master`s degree in Biostatistics or related field
  • 5-10 years’ experience to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job
  • Line Management experience
  • Extensive experience in statistical design and analysis methodology
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate statistical concepts
  • Very good English and German language skills
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strategic, collaborative, relationships with external stake holders
