Resource Management at PAREXEL is ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time, while balancing labor cost, profitability, and client satisfaction.

As the Project Resourcing Analyst within Resource Management you will be responsible for supporting the delivery unit aligned Account Partner in implementing the delivery resourcing strategy. You will engage with project teams to execute resourcing optimization actions driven by the delivery unit strategy. You will also have a good understanding of analytics, use of various data sources, and have the ability to produce intermediate analysis and presentations when required.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide Resourcing Reporting and Analytics
- Run and maintain an archive of standard enterprise reports to support Account Partner’s analysis & reporting.
- Distribute resourcing reports to project and functional stakeholders to drive review and action on Account Partner defined resourcing initiatives.
- Maintain a staff experience database in order to improve timeliness and quality of availability reporting.
- Monitor pending pipeline studies as they advance from the commercial organization to the delivery organization to improve start up resource planning.

Maintain Project Demand Accuracy
- Monitor resourcing variances for established metrics and work with the Account Partners to define project level actions.
- Track progress and results from resourcing initiatives to support Account Partner presentations to senior stakeholders.
- Engage with Central Resourcing team to monitor and influence flow of demand in support of defined Client Delivery Unit strategy.
- Engage with Project Leaders, Project Specialists and project Functional Leaders to implement project resourcing action items identified by Account Partners and Client Delivery Unit management.
- Support the Account Partners in providing value added resourcing services to the commercial organization (Bid Defense Meetings and Requests for Proposals).

- Bachelor or equivalent degree required

- Advanced interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in managing senior stakeholders
- Fluent in written and spoken English communication skills
- Independently follow up on assignments until completion
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning
- Demonstrated ability to work in a ‘virtual` team environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with accountability for assigned tasks
- Perseverance, energy and drive in the face of obstacles
- General understanding of clinical trial planning and management
- Effective time management in order to meet daily metrics or team objectives
- Excellent computer and internet skills, intermediate knowledge of Excel required
- Demonstrated expertise in running queries/reports from enterprise data systems

Knowledge and Experience:
- Good project administration or planning or coordination or analytical experience is essential.
- Strong professional work experience gained in an office environment, ideally within a large international organisation would be desirable.
- Relevant experience in a CRO / Pharma or Professional Services organization would be desirable but not essential.
- Project planning experience is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office in Word, Excel, PowerPoint is essential.
