Our client, a global pharmaceutical company are actively searching for an Analytical Development Scientist Mission Description Specialist Analytical Development Polymers

Key Responsibilities:

Performs analyses in the framework of pharmaceutical development projects.

Performs analyses on polymeric drug intermediates.

Performs typically the following types of analysis : Gel Permeation Chromatography, Ionic Exchange Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, HPLC and other polymer analyses.

Manages development and qualification of new analytical methods.

Analyses results with readiness to criticize and ensures the consistency of these results with existing data if relevant.

Masters the computer software in use at the laboratory (eg Empower).

Monitors the documentation associated with analytical laboratory activities.

Reads and writes in English.

Skills/Education Requirements:

Master/Bachelor in (bio-)chemistry and/or analytical chemistry with day-to-day practical experience in HPLC and/or GPC analysis.

English: able to speak and read/write scientific documents

French: mandatory/fluent

Experience : 2-3 years in analytical development, LC/GC techniques, NMR. Pharma background is not mandatory at all.

Good knowledge/understanding of organic chemistry. Polymer knowledge is an asset.

Mandatory skills: team player, compliant/rigorous (understands the importance of following procedures)
