Our client is a leading global healthcare communications agency. They are seeking an Operations Lead to join their team in their West London office.

Our client creates and delivers bespoke medical education and healthcare learning to their global pharmaceutical clients. For both patients and healthcare professionals, they provide e-learning programmes, virtual events and digital tools. As their business continues to flourish,  they are interested in hearing from candidates who can provide overall operational leadership to the business unit to ensure the highest quality and efficient editorial content development and interactive asset delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in close collaboration with the editorial team leads to ensure optimal allocation of writing and instructional design (ID) projects and efficiency to achieve client deadlines and internal operational and budget requirements
  • Liaise closely with the technology team to support ‘ready to build’ content ideas and a smooth transition from storyboarding to interactive asset development and efficient use of internal resources
  • Ensure adherence to key internal process steps and facilitate innovative and proactive problem solving to deal effectively with operational challenges
  • Apply quality management principles to ensure customer needs are identified and met at project outset and throughout the process
  • Form effective relationships with the commercial account leads and client contacts to understand live and future client needs and potential resourcing requirements
  • Have an active role in assessment of both editorial and interactive/navigational concepts and provide support for the review and approval process for final deliverables

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A life science degree
  • Significant healthcare agency (or similar) experience
  • An in-depth understanding of digital content development processes/platforms and ideally an understanding of the key aspects of interactive content development
  • An in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical clients and compliance/ content approval requirements
  • Capability to work across multiple therapy areas
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate key actions and requirements across multiple projects to team members
  • Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience leading and managing multifunctional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a diplomatic approach to deal with multiple client and team requirements
  • Computer literate (Word/Excel/PowerPoint essential)
