A rare opportunity for an experienced Pharmacovigilance professional to become a Deputy QPPV at a growing and dynamic global pharma company.

A global specialty pharmaceutical company selling a range of acquired and licensed mature niche medicine

Responsibility as Deputy QPPV

PRIMARY DUTIES

Working within a collaborative PV team, the role will work across a broad pharma product portfolio and take responsibility for shaping, developing and owning a PV system and associated processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Development and support of the Pharmacovigilance activities. 

Taking an active interest in assessing the legislative and changing trends in Pharmacovigilance and implementing necessary changes and helping to shape this growing organisation accordingly to achieve its goals.

Developing strong and successful working relationships across the business using their expertise to guide and inform decision making.

Some project work will be required which may include providing due diligence on future acquisitions.

Responsible for the maintenance and QC of product information.

Responsible for Departmental QMS activities.

Support ongoing training and professional development activities in order to fulfil departmental goals and objectives. Responsible for, the training of others which may include mentoring.

Act, assess impact and implement changes of external GVP environment.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Life Science Degree essential.
  • Strong Pharmaceutical product Pharmacovigilance experience
  • Strong, working knowledge of current GVP legislation
  • Independent working as well as team working, accountable, confident and knowledgeable
  • ARISg Database knowledge experience preferred
