The Role:
An opportunity for a Principle Medical Writer has become available in a full-service agency, they are very well established and work with most of the top pharmaceutical companies regularly. The role is perfect for Medical Writers looking to join a successful company with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects and materials.

Job Responsibilities:
* Providing information and updates on the projects at hand to clients and medical experts.
* Monitoring the quality, scientific accuracy and layout of your own work plus the work of medical writers and editors within the team.
* Effectively delivering consistent, timely and constructive feedback to other team members.
* Ability to keep up with a heavy work load, whilst maintaining a high standard of produced products and projects.
* Overseeing the creation of various different materials whilst also having an input into the creation and design yourself.

The ideal candidate will have obtained a high level of accuracy and detail within all produced pieces of work alongside client facing/meetings experience. You should have between 3-5 years of medical writing experience within a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical company.

Essential skills:
* A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development and approval process.
* Experience within a variety of therapy areas.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage and mentor junior writers.
