Main responsibilities

As a Patient Services Coordinator you will provide administrative support to the clinical team on the site and play an integral part in the front and back office duties for the research centres. You will also support the patient services manager to achieve research centre objectives and targets and to drive compliance and process improvement initiatives.

Your key accountabilities will be:

  • Training and developing staff on technology and department needs and objectives as directed by the patient services manager
  • Striving for excellent customer service as per UK operational SLAs
  • Driving and monitoring team compliance with company quality framework, regulatory (GCP) legislation, guidelines and international standards
  • Ensuring facilities are operational and user friendly
  • Dealing with petty cash and other money transactions at centre level and ensure that this matches financial system expectations and seeking approval of cash transactions during the reconciliation process
  • Liaising with the business support assistant to seek approval of travel and accommodation for centre staff
Ideal candidate

As a successful Patient Services Coordinator, you will likely have:

  • A good level of relevant work experience in an office environment
  • Demonstrable time management skills and the ability to adhere to project productivity metrics and time lines
  • Knowledge of clinical trial process, clinical operations, biometrics, quality management, and systems applications to support operations
  • Working knowledge of the relationship and regulatory obligation of the industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to analyse data, run reports and provide accurate data
  • Appropriate MS Office skills
  • Experience in quality assurance and audit
