Provides managerial oversight, strategic leadership and direct organizational and logistical planning for assigned Human Resources (HR) Operations of the company. Responsible for the development and implementation of all HR Operations in assigned geographical region, including but not limited to employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, personnel records and organizational development.

Essential Functions:

* Contributes to and implements corporate human resource strategies by evaluating trends, monitoring internal feedback channels and establishing critical measurements for goal attainment for the regions as assigned.

* Partners with executive leadership to ensure human resource strategies are driven by and aligned with business needs and growth.

* Serves as subject-matter expert concerning HR requirements and regulations related to employment, compensation, employee relations, and benefits.

* Provides consultation to all levels of management to promote/foster positive attitude toward company goals through company policies/procedures, company history and benefits.

* Partners with Global Compensation and Benefits on the design and implementation of employee benefit programs for assigned regions. Assists in the research and evaluation of benefits and recommends new competitive benefit plans. Keeps abreast of trends in the marketplace and practices with competitors.

* Responsible for contributing to the planning and administration of company compensation programs in collaboration with Global Compensation to ensure market competitiveness. Supports the communication and facilitation of manager and employee understanding of the company’s Total Rewards philosophy and practices.

* Responsible for interpretation of current or changing employment laws. Revises, as necessary, management policies/procedures; resolves issues of interpretation.

* Directs employee relations activities in coordination with the regional HR Managers. Assists employees/supervisors in disciplinary actions, personal problems as needed, gives consultative advice as appropriate, and provides guidance to employees seeking assistance or aid.

* Consults with Training Department on corporate training goals by targeting needed programs to assist and enhance human asset developmental growth and their corresponding alignment with core Company values and philosophy.

* Analyzes and monitors employee separation data in order to develop effective strategies to reduce employee attrition and enhance morale.

* Leads implementation efforts for engagement surveys, talent management and succession plan activities for assigned regions.

* May direct Merger & Acquisition activities in assigned regions.

* Line management responsibilities for staff members. Leads departmental/team performance through the performance management process in order to achieve department results. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Works with and advises staff on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods.

* Ensures staff takes the responsibility and ownership for successfully executing on HR projects/business goals on time, with high quality and within budget. Metrics driven and process-oriented. Follows through on commitments.
Acts with appropriate urgency to ensure key deadlines are met. Leads by example. Communicates and executes company policies. Contributes to the accomplishments of the team, the department and the business.

* Financial management: understands financial processes. Knows how a business makes money. Effectively leads departmental/team financial resources, planning, budgets and expenses to optimize returns and control
waste. Monitors expenditures and uses cost-benefit thinking to set priorities. Develops sound business cases, business plans, budgets, forecasts, etc. Makes good use of company assets.

* Human capital management: Builds and manages a workforce based on organizational goals, budget considerations and staffing/resourcing needs. Effectively manages employee resources, budgets, and expenses to achieve maximum value with minimum cost.
