Job Summary:

Our client is a multi-award winning medical communications agency. Continued success requires them to appoint an Associate Director to join their PR division and work out of their offices in Surrey.

Requirements:

Our client is a multi-award winning medical communications agency. Continued success requires them to appoint an Associate Director to join their PR division and work out of their offices in Surrey.

In this role, you will lead, inspire and mentor your own team and oversee the delivery of projects for European and Global accounts. Developing and implementing client programmes, you will offer your expertise and strategic advice to your clients and develop and maintain lasting partnerships with these.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for developing and implementing client programmes.
  • Lead the successful delivery of projects through the effective team management and allocation of resources
  • Create a collaborative environment where support and team work engender the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Empower your team to take on further responsibilities when they are ready
  • Work closely with clients to foresee, plan for and manage any issues that arise
  • Develop, reconcile and negotiate project budgets and guide colleagues in doing the same
  • Oversee and manage account/project profitability

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Life science / Communications degree
  • Significant experience of leading an account team in a public relations / medical communications agency environment
  • Experience in leading a team – supports, develops and effectively manages others
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Problem solver
  • Team orientated
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong working relationships
