Location: Aachen, Germany

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Coaches and supports Supervisors regarding HR related matters and problems in their Division/Department/Unit and supports them in their role as People Manager in order to optimize their motivation, efficiency and involvement
  • Advises Supervisors regarding the current and future organizational structure and the manpower of the Division/Department/Unit in order to ensure its alignment with the Company's evolution / growth and guaranteeing appropriate workload for the Resources
  • Responsible for ensuring a correct payroll and benefits administration by respecting all laws and regulations, taking cost efficiency and effectiveness into account
  • Facilitates changes and improvements by advising and coordinating the communication between the different Divisions/Departments/Units in cooperation with the Country Manager
  • Advises and supports the Supervisors with the implementation and compliance of HR procedures and processes (example: end-year appraisals, salary rounds, onboarding…) in a country
  • Acts as the coordinator for escalated HR related issues (Training, People Management, Recruitment) for both Supervisors and Resources within the Division/Department/Unit in the assigned country
  • Participates and advises on HR strategies and leads HR projects on a Country / department / global level (absenteeism, workforce, headcounts, flexibility, retention, etc.)
  • Follows up on KPI's and prepares analyses regarding different HR projects
  • Informs and advises the Top management and the Board on local / cultural / legal differences and escalates any possible issues

Education and Experience

  • Higher Education in Business, HR Management preferred
  • Several years of HR Management experience
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Corporate experience appreciated and International approach desired
