Position Purpose

The purpose of the Tech Services Complianc & Ops Specialist role is to provide customer and administrative support to the UK & Ireland Technical Service organization maintaining an excellent customer relationship and assur-ing highest customer satisfaction. Securing good financial performance, employee loyalty and sat-isfaction, engineer utilization and quality/compliance performance. Manage cross border work in UK area and work with UK & Ireland Technical Service and Surgical Management and colleagues to secure optimal overall service performance. Assist service management with administrative tasks as directed.

Major Accountabilities

Provide prompt, efficient, and cost effective technical service in response to customer needs securing compliance to standard processes, financial- and quality-guidelines. Assure excellent customer satisfaction with Alcon products and service. Maintain, offer and renew service contracts in coordination with field service engineers and service management. Close and invoice service requests, sales orders and service agreements. Create and maintain scheduled service activities in service management system according to service contract requirements. Assist engineers to provide the necessary repair quotes to the customers. Keep products and installed base records updated and create new records as needed. Assist with installation and demo planning by securing coordination of equipment delivery and engineer availability. Handle spare parts orders, parts stock maintenance and timely return of exchange parts. Assist with managing retrofits with service activity creation, parts ordering and SOFA system maintenance. Secure an optimal quality performance of the service processes including service history, test equipment use, calibration process, documentation processes, controlled document process, retrofit management etc. Manage test tool calibration to secure timely calibration and handle deviations according to Alcon procedure. Manage purchase orders for department purchases. Handle and report product complaints and adverse events.

Minimum requirements

College Level qualification or equivalent (e.g. GNVQ/NVQ level 3/A levels) – desired English Proven experience working within a customer support/customer relations environment Working knowledge and experience of PC based CRM systems
