Job purpose:

The core purpose of this role is to act as Franchise Lead and functionally manage the team that supports the franchise to enable delivery of various Primary Market Research (PMR) deliverables & strategic PMR insights. Management of delivery, quality control process, customer satisfaction, issue resolution, work flow process and partnership with support functions that work across Dublin, Hyderabad and Mexico

Key Responsibilities :

•Coordinate with the Brand Insight teams and Brand Owners to plan and design market research analyses based on a sound understanding of the research tools, techniques, datasets, and resources available and their use at various stages of the ‘product life-cycle’.
•Provide effective guidance and overall planning of studies, including questionnaire /study design, review, tracking of studies, alignment on questionnaire, screener and report structure
•Provide alternative proposals/different approaches and suggestions for optimization of approach and synergies with other studies executed or planned
•Implement and execute studies on local, regional & global level
•Design and implement new methodologies, processes and/or solutions to strengthen current research practices
•Improve planning & execution of primary market research programs. Verify concepts’ alignment to overall franchise strategy, quality, and compliance requirements
•Act as a team member and build relationships with other PLS functions supporting the same franchise
•Ensure the deliverables are story lead, accurate and provides answers to key business questions.
•Evaluation of 3rd party qualitative vendor proposals, as well as qualitative research design

The Novartis Global Service Center (NGSC), Dublin, was set up in 2013 and is located in a state-of-the-art facility on the Merrion Road in Ballsbridge. Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

•BA/BS degree in medicine, sciences, business administration health policy, health economic or other relevant qualification
•Fluency in English, superior written composition skills. Second European language desired
•Ability to work with a cross-functional team in a matrix environment
•Ability to communicate effectively and to have a persuasive and credible presentation style
•A strong understanding of effective project management and delivery across regions and time zones
•Strong process/project management skills
•Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial impact on the wider business
•Strong solution-orientation
•10+ years of relevant experience acquired at primary market research agencies or health care consultancy companies
•Understanding complexity of integrated working in a matrix and geographically dispersed environment
•Adapts to changing objectives and priorities
Preferred: Knowledge of the disease areas within the Pharma sector, with strong leadership and communication skills
