My client, a global pharmaceutical company now have a vacancy for a Senior PV Scientist.   Permanent role based in Dublin.

Main Objective of Role 
Provide support for the Pharmacovigilance operations, in particular the medical and scientific functions with respect to safety evaluations of all products across the companies for which marketing authorisations are held. 
A central point of contact for all medical writing projects, liaising with other Group departments as the need arises. Undertake all research, creation, and editing of all documents to comply with safety and clinical updates according to the internal labelling documents for all Aspen Products. Develop a framework for setting internal and external deliverables against each medical writing project, to include project goals and objectives and measurement criteria and business outcomes for each project goal. Conduct leadership, training and support of junior medical writing staff. 


• Bachelors or Post Graduate degree in science, pharmacy or medicine; 
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Medicine Information Unit; 
• Line management experience; 
• Facilitator training will be an advantage; 
• Working with remote team is considered as an advantage; 
• Knowledge of relevant information sources including: printed publications, unpublished sources, databases, websites, social media sites and external bodies. 
• Effective understanding and use of the principles of information capture, storage, searching and retrieval. 
• Effective use of appropriate IT systems and programs. 
• Ability to communicate information effectively and clearly in written form and orally, and at levels appropriate to the needs of different internal and external customers. 
• Understanding of relevant legal and related issues on copyright, codes of Practice, Data Protection legislation, European and Global PV Regulations
