Job Summary:

Full-time permanent opportunity for a healthcare professional to join our clients med info team - salary negotiable depending on experience. Med Info experience would be advantageous or considering candidates from a drug safety / pharmacy technician background

THE JOB:

  • The MI Officer will support the PV Manager and PV operational team with the intake of medical information queries, adverse event reports and/or product quality queries.
  • Deliver technical and medical information, in a high-quality customer service setting.
  • Provide up-to-date responses to questions about products from HCP’s, consumers and members of the general public that are medically and scientifically accurate.
  • Create and maintain MI documentation, according to relevant SOPs. Identify adverse events received and forward them to the PV department.
  • Liaise with the PV department to perform follow-up for case reports.
  • Conduct a periodic reconciliation between MI and ADR databases. Research current medical literature to provide references for MI queries.
  • SmPC comparisons (training can be provided for this element of the role).

THE CANDIDATE:

  • The ideal candidate will have a good med info background already or come from a pharmacy / related background and be willing to learn the role as the client are essentially looking for someone to work autonomously to provide the MI service for the company.
  • Client are keen on experience and understanding of the role as opposed to educational background.
