Job Summary:

My client, a leading pharmaceutical company in Dublin, is looking for a Senior Professional (Manufacturing) to join their Manufacturing, Science and Technology (MSAT) Ireland department. This is a temporary position, reporting to the department manager.


The successful candidate will be part of the Finished Goods Ireland team within the Global Product Supply.

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Design and co-ordination of process development, trouble-shooting & qualification studies for existing products
  • Design and performance of laboratory-scale and pilot-scale trials
  • Co-ordination of the manufacture & filling of clinical trial supplies for existing commercial product
  • Scale-up/down of existing commercial production processes
  • Review of documentation relating to Finished Goods production processes
  • Provide technical support to Finished Goods manufacturing functions
  • Using LEAN tools and performing major investigations into product/process related deviations.


  • Honours degree in pharmacy, chemistry or related discipline
  • PhD in a pharmacy related discipline or chemistry
  • Experience in product/process development or related post-graduate research
  • 3+ years of experience in a process support role in a cGMP environment with a proven track record preferred
