Job Summary:

Opportunity for a research professional within Health Outcomes to join a dynamic consultancy within a client facing, operational lead role. Offered on a permanent basis to the West of London.



You’ll join a team of high calibre Patient Outcome experts, where you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing solutions that drive an improvement in patient care and benefit the Life-science Industry as well as the NHS.

The role is offered on a permanent basis, is office based to the West of London sitting in the M4 / M4O corridor.

You will require previous Health Outcomes / Patient Centred Outcomes experience, coupled with a personality that will fit well into a commercially facing  role.



The Health Outcomes Manager will be responsible for designing bespoke PRO solutions for industry clients and maintain a strategic oversight of projects throughout their lifecycle. Ensuring clients’ objectives are met and further needs identified. As well as managing clients, you will also look at where new business opportunities sit within these and the wider industry.

Provide scientific consultancy services on the selection, development and implementation of PRO measures

Design, conduct, and publish standalone patient centred research projects (e.g. patient reported burden of illness studies, bespoke PRO patient surveys and prospective studies) to support client Real World evidence requirements or client’s clinical development PRO data needs.

Engage with key opinion leaders (e.g. Healthcare Professionals) in the therapeutic area to develop study frameworks that achieve client objectives.



Masters or PhD in Psychology, Psychometrics, Pharmacy, Outcomes Research, or related health science

Experience of conducting health research and project management in pharmaceutical industry or consultancy role, or related environment

Proven experience of health outcomes research including qualitative and/or quantitative research

Experience of working with PRO/COA requirements for regulatory and HTA/reimbursement agencies including understanding of the FDA Patient Reported Outcomes Guidance.
