My client is a well-established organisation with an extremely strong pipeline of research, covering multiple therapeutic areas in a niche field. This is the ideal role for a proactive candidate with strong scientific and technical skills who is motivated to lead key projects and take a high level of accountability. As Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology, you will:

  • Design and implement the Clinical Pharmacology studies, and handle the subsequent analyses.
  • Carry out representative responsibilities for the Clinical Pharmacology elements within projects, spanning preclinical and clinical development.
  • Apply quantitative methods to support model-based drug development and to address complex issues.
  • Collaborate with discovery research specialists to ensure of quality PKPD data for translation into the clinic.
  • Provide both scientific and technical input into the design, and reporting, of clinical pharmacology studies.
  • Be responsible for overseeing the scientific input for the various sections of regulatory documents.

 

 The ideal candidate will have:

  • A PhD or PharmD with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Significant knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry with strong understanding of Clinical Pharmacology and Modelling & Simulation principles.
  • Proficient hands-on knowledge of PK modelling software, such as WinNonlin, NonMem, R.
  • Working knowledge of Clinical Pharmacology and applying this to study design and strategy.
  • Confidence to operate autonomously, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ability to provide scientifically robust and well documented results.
