PAREXEL Early Product Development teams have an excellent reputation in the industry for their standards of work and quality of results. Project Leaders are responsible to represent Project Management at marketing/new business meetings. This includes providing the overall leadership of clinical trials or clinical programs and the project teams to achieve operational excellence; and delivering projects / programs on time, to budget, to the highest quality, compliant with ICH GCP, exceeding client expectations. This position is responsible for the profitability of a project(s) and client satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

  • Owns the client relationship and responsible for client communication ensuring high client satisfaction. Pro-active approach to providing solution set for clients in a timely manner.
  • Lead a formal hand over meeting with Account Management, DPM/Portfolio Director(s), P&C and assigned Project Financial Analyst and Project Specialist to understand the scope of the contract and any Master Services agreement (MSA) in place for the client.
  • Lead the kick off meetings with client and internal project team, set and agree on milestones, and work with different teams internally and with the client to deliver the study on time and within budget, according to the relevant SOP’s.
  • Pro-actively communicate with the client ensuring the client has all the information required on project progress and status (risk analyses, contingency plans, technical information, significant changes of any kind etc.); provide pro-active decisions /solutions and how the project objectives are being, or should be, achieved.
  • Manage sites efficiently
QualificationsSkills
  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail
  • Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, MS Project and Word.
  • Travel is a requirement of this job (max 30% as required).

Education
  • Bachelors of Clinical Research degree or equivalent in a science related field, nursing qualification or relevant experience with an advanced degree desirable

Language Skills
  • English language proficiency (written and oral) required. Any additional language is a plus.
Experience
  • Two years, preferably more previous experience in a Clinical Research Organization, pharmaceutical Industry or comparable environment. Any previous relevant work experience in Project Management would be a plus.
