As a Principal Lead Data Manager you will work in PRA's thriving Livingston office, with an established Data Management team who are fully dedicated to one of our global pharmaceutical clients; a company that bring innovative, effective treatments in five therapeutic areas; Oncology, Cardio-Metabolic diseases, Neurosciences, Infectious Diseases and Immune Diseases.

The key responsibilities are; 

  • Designing, developing and implementing clinical studies through data coordination, technical support, and data management with a key focus on Data Privacy
  • Running custom built software created in-house by the Sponsor's team
  • Anonymising data and working with data sharing platforms ahead of it getting into the public domain
  • Communicating and reporting data for project teams, analysts, other departments, and regulatory agencies.
  • There may also be some flexibility to work from home 2 days per week, once established in the role. 

You are: 

Analytically minded, able to work independently, a quick learner

Here at PRA we want our employees to succeed and ensure that they are set up for this success through constant training, development and support. To enable success in this position you will have:

  • A Degree level education, preferably with Statistical, Analytical or Life Science qualifications
  • Extensive experience in Statistics, Data Management or the Pharmaceutical/CRO industry, ideally with experience of reviewing or working around a Clinical Study report 
  • Computer literacy, with an understanding/experience of working with data and datasets (R code would be advantageous)
