The Franchise Insights Lead is a senior member of the Strategic Insights and Analysis group (SIA), accountable for forecasts and insights, competitor intelligence and analysis.

As a highly-valued business partner, the Franchise Insights Lead is at the heart of decision making within key Roche franchise teams. You will provide the insights and forecasts needed for sound strategic decision making, challenging stakeholders to ensure that business decisions are underpinned by evidence, be it data, analytics, market trends and/or insights. Through your technical expertise and excellent people skills, as well as curiosity and objective viewpoint, you will drive effective strategic planning and excellent operational execution within Roche franchise teams as well as the wider organization.

You will take a personal interest and accountability for insights that drive action. You’ll work with external partners, capture the most valuable insights and data, provide recommendations and leverage your influence to ensure they are put to use by business leaders.

An advisor, a functional expert and an influencer, the Franchise Insight Lead shapes key brand decisions that will help us to be leaders in our field and to achieve the best outcomes for patients and for our business.

Your functional home will be within the dynamic Strategic Insights and Analysis (SIA) group, where you will establish strong relationships with other Franchise Insights Leads and Insights Managers; collaborate on franchise or cross-portfolio projects; share best practice and foster an aligned approach across franchises and within the SIA team.

The Franchise Insights Lead role reports to the Strategic Insights Lead.

A natural aptitude for market research and analytics, you will have experience in a similar role (e.g. insights lead or insights director) within the pharmaceutical industry or be keen to expand your understanding and knowledge in this sector. Drive, commitment and a passion to deliver to the highest standards is of the upmost importance.  A team player, you will embrace our mission to continually develop our expertise and support our culture of challenging and supporting each other in order to achieve optimum results across our organisation.

Qualification & Experience

• Leading the development of insights, analytics and/or forecasting for the pharmaceutical industry

• High level understanding of sales, forecasting and market research methodologies

• Informing, supporting and challenging decision making

• Excellent communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and ability to flex communication style to different stakeholder needs

• Working effectively within teams and influencing without authority

• Making sound prioritisation decisions in the face of competing demands

• Passion for discovering and sharing best practices in insights, forecasting and/or analytics

• Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking

• Proficient in use of MS Office

• Educated to degree level or equivalent

• BHBIA

• Knowledge of UK healthcare system (desirable)

• MRS (desirable)
