This role is based in our new modern state of the art office in Nottingham city centre which has excellent transport links and has a great working environment and the feel of an innovative technology company.

As the Product Manager you will provide support to the Product Management group in helping to drive the company’s growth as part of a high profile team managing the product portfolio life cycle. Evaluating new business opportunities, facilitate and consolidate market research and value proposition research activities providing data to management to help determine which opportunities to pursue, which features to prioritize; keeping track of competitors and working with marketing to keep an updated view of the competitive and marketing landscape. You will also keep in touch with prospects, clients, key opinion leaders and internal customers to identify new feature and new product needs,

Key Accountabilities:
- Undertake the full range of duties relevant to supporting the leadership and development of the product management organization to ensure its performance meets and or exceeds both the business and staff own personal goals/objectives, as appropriate:
+ Participate in setting the vision and mission of Product Management
+ Participate in setting the strategic and tactical goals of Product Management and participate in the review of these goals on an on-going basis to ensure that they are being met.
- Market Problems: Discover market problems by interviewing customers, recent evaluators, and potential customers in new niches.
- Win/Loss Analysis: Oversee win/loss interviews for recent opportunities.
- Distinctive Competence: Articulate company’s unique abilities to deliver value in assigned markets.
- Competitive Intelligence: Work with Senior Management in Client Operations to keep competitive intelligence up to date, including database of company/feature comparisons and focused information sheets for Sales on how to sell against competitors in assigned markets.
- Focus: help deliver new product and feature opportunities, with focus on those with the greatest potential for PAREXEL, ensuring alignment with portfolio strategic themes.
- Roadmap: help feedback into the development and communication of product vision and to the preparation of 12-month roadmap and more detailed 3 month work plan, both with delivery date estimates.
- Business Plan: Help deliver products business plans, ensuring they include a market problem statements, value proposition statement, market size assessment and a financial model of revenue and profits (ROI), risks assessment, communication and education plan, advertising, social media, KPIs, post-launch strategy, etc
- Buyer and User Personas: Help deliver the preparation and maintenance of user and buyer personas for all products in the Logistics Solutions portfolio.
- Requirements: Ensure a prioritized backlog of features for all product is maintained, and that that requirements, prototypes, designs and developed products meet customers’ needs.
- Product Positioning: Help deliver the preparation and maintenance of a Product Offering Document for all products. Oversee overall product life cycle management.
- Launch: Help deliver an organizational readiness plan for product releases, and all items are completed to launch releases externally.

- Domain knowledge of Randomisation and Trial Supply Management (aka Interactive Response Technology or Interactive Web Response) is a benefit.

Education
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Marketing, Technology or Life Science preferable.

Language Skills
- Fluent spoken and written English communication skills

Ideal Work Experience
- Software product management experience
- Provision of Software as a Service (SaaS) or Managed Services with strong technology aspects.
- Exposure to or experience of evaluating new business opportunities and new entries into markets
- Exposure to or experience of preparing business plans for new opportunities
- Exposure to or experience of launching new products
