The Position:

Working in Product Development Operations, within our Immunology, Inflammation, Ophthalmology and Neuroscience (I2ON) Study and Sample Management function we are looking for a Global Studies Manager to provide the operational expertise to enable us to deliver our late phase I2ON clinical trials (Phase II & III). You will provide direction and leadership to one or more clinical operations teams and be a key member of the study management team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for developing operational plans including site selection, site monitoring strategies and risk mitigation strategies; as well as developing and managing clinical study budgets. You must also oversee the forecasting and management of clinical and non-clinical supplies.

Using your previous experience, you will create and proactively manage study level recruitment, including the management of CROs and vendors.

Your previous leadership experience will enable you to build effective and efficient high performing operations teams. You will be expected to create a team culture and promote team spirit.

Your ability to identify areas of best practice and to introduce process improvements will be highly regarded in this position.

With a proven track record of clinical project management you know what it takes to lead and deliver the operational aspects of clinical studies. We are looking for an individual who has excellent communication skills and is someone who is able to influence and negotiate. You should be able to work well within a team environment and be driven to help the team to successfully achieve its goals.

Qualifications:

Life Sciences degree, nursing equivalent or substantial experience in a clinical research / healthcare environment.

A good knowledge of ICH GCP is essential to this position

Previous experience of managing I2O clinical studies preferable.
