Position overview:

Working as a key collaborator within our global Business Development team, the possibilities for this new Account Director are limitless. This is an end-to-end business development role, allowing for full exposure to the complete sales lifecycle across a wide geographical region full of potential. The ideal opportunity for a creative and self-motivated individual who can learn from others, this is a foundation role where you can truly make an impact and forge a long-term career.

Your focus will be on driving growth and securing business with new and existing clients across the European market, specifically promoting and actively selling our Strategic Solutions Embedded services (also known as ‘FSP’) to local affiliates, capitalising on our existing global agreements with these customers and breaking in to new accounts.

Whilst no two days will be exactly the same, you can expect the following to feature in your typical working schedule:

  • Meeting in person with local affiliate offices to understand requirements and craft the ideal customised solution to meet the clients’ needs
  • Finding appropriate potential target clients, identifying key contacts and establishing that crucial first initial communication
  • Contributing to proposals and working on billing rate compilation
  • Working with Marketing for their input in marketing materials and events

Of course, the fundamental part of your role will be to meet with clients and secure new business, leveraging existing relationships and learning from experienced Business Development colleagues to ensure success. In addition to this you will work cross-functionally with other internal departments (for example Legal, Finance, Proposals, Talent Acquisition) to drive contract finalisation.

This position can be fully home-based anywhere within the United Kingdom.

  • The ability to take accountability for yourself yet work effectively with the wider Business Development team and colleagues in other functional areas
  • Exceptional communication skills to navigate internally and externally
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe
