My client's revolutionary award-winning software enables users to visualize, analyze, distribute and to manage even multi-terabyte multi-dimensional (2D, 3D, 4D, 5D) image datasets that are e.g. created by microscopes or scanners, very fast, efficient – and on ordinary PCs and laptops! Their main product is used widely in microscopy-based applications. The .sis format is powered by a specific technology and ensures constant RAM-independent access to large images during navigation and zoom as well as powerful image analysis.

The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to develop the market in the respective markets. We are searching for a candidate that has already got experience in a similar position and still wants to grow with the challenging company goals in different aspects (number of employees, size of the company, regional extent, product portfolio, acquisitions, business models and opportunities). Position requires a fair amount of travelling. It includes growth in new regions and products. The candidate may work from his home office. It is preferred to find a candidate located close to either Munich or Rostock.

 

Requirements for this position are

  • Experience [management] in/with similar sized operations, with distributed sales operations, in working in matrix operations
  • in setting up new environments
  • in achieving constantly sales goals with the team
  • working with different sales channels
  • Goal setting processes, forecast calls, sales strategy meetings

Experience [subject matter] in

  • microscopy with Confocal, Multi-photon, Spinning Disk, Light Sheet, Widefield, live-cell and/or digital imaging; microscopy image data processing
  • strong computer skills
  • interest in scientific advances and innovations in image analysis and advanced optics
  • new technologies in subject matter, software industry, sales methodologies, marketing concepts

 

Personality

  • HR oriented personality, ethical background, compliance-oriented, motivating personality, strategic approach (such as Miller-Heiman experienced, leading by business plans), corporate background appreciated
  • Outgoing personality with an affinity for self-motivation and responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills, oral, and written; ability to explain complex concepts in a concise manner, ability to vertically interface with multiple levels of diverse professional clients; extensive experience with different management levels (negotiations)
