For more information, visit www.ppdi.com.   Contracts Specialist, Legal   Primary Function:   Drafts, reviews and negotiates standard agreements with third parties on PPD's behalf and within established PPD parameters using, in most instances, established MSA templates or PPD templates. Serves as the primary contact for Standard Agreements assigned to their group, working under the direct supervision of a company attorney. May be called upon to help identify best practices and assist with the implementation of process improvement opportunities.   The main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Prepares and negotiates of Standard Agreements or other related documentation
  • Assesses legal risks and providing recommendations to departmental management
  • Makes recommendations to other functional groups within PPD upon request
  • Identifies best practices and assists in the implementation of process improvements as necessary
  • Understands and Adheres to PPD and Client SOPs, WPDs and other regulations

Qualifications

  • Degree in Law
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job
  • Excellent command in English
  • Ability to apply knowledge of and adhere to all PPD and Client’s procedural documentation and other regulations
  • Capability to draft and negotiate contract provisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
