Medical Manager                                                                                                                                         Permanent Position to be based in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany

 

Your new responsibilities:

  • You will have regular interface and alignment with the Marketing and Sales, Research and Medical Education departments.

 

  • You will provide medical and scientific support to help define USP, relevant indication and patient/ consumer target.

 

  • You will provide medical input to develop medical marketing materials to MDs and strategies in conjunction with the international Marketing department.

 

  • You will act as additional medical resource for the company working with marketing, medical and clinical research to support the promotion of company products, corporate research and development.

 

  • You will participate, organize and lead focus groups, think tanks, expert groups, SAB’S and key conference activities, with reference to preparation, execution (including participation) and reporting.

 

  • You will provide medical expert input into product development when relevant.

 

  • You will represent the company to groups of experts, medical professional groups, societies, regulatory groups at international scientific meetings.

 

  • You will assemble and manage key opinion leader groups for the relevant product/ therapeutic area.

 

  • You will be responsible for development of medical information packages e.g. target product profiles (TPP) for the products.

 

  • You will support the development of pre/clinical data through pre/clinical trials as well as analysis and translation of trial data to provide interpretation to Marketing & Sales, Medicine, and Medical Education departments.

 

  • You will facilitate the publication of study results (manuscript) and disseminate results in cooperation with relevant internal departments.

 

  • You will do medical validation of Medical Education and Marketing materials.

 

  • You will build strong relationships with external partners and gain advocates for the marked products with the focus on developing and maximizing commercial values.

 

Your profile:

  • Medical degree

 

  • Experience in medical affairs within a multinational (bio)pharmaceutical company

 

  • Good understanding and experience of the pharmaceutical product development processes and strong awareness of the interface between R&D and Marketing

 

  • Experience in utilizing scientific data in various medical forums preferred

 

  • Ability to maintain scientific credibility while being commercially supportive, to communicate scientific results and effectively respond to data queries from customers/stakeholders

 

  • Fluency in English
