Job Summary:

Our client is one of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in the world with an impressive pipeline. You will be responsible for achieving market leading supplier performance by ensuring that products reach our customers in time and with the appropriate quality and compliance. You will also provide a key input for the end to end supply chain related to all EMEA sales and work closely with the Director of Manufacturing. This is a full-time contract position based in Leiden, Netherlands.

Role/ Description


  • Responsible for the execution of Global and Regional strategies aligned with business requirements
  • Manage cross-functional teams and implement plans that will enhance performance
  • Serve as point of contract for Global Business Units regarding procurement activities and delivering financial and performance objectives
  • Generate market-leading deliverables and implement client’s strategy
  • Analysis market trends and create initiatives that will improve performance, quality, costs and reliability
  • Develop analytical tools to assess risks and take actions accordingly


  • Masters’ degree in Procurement, Pharmaceutical or related
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Able to translate strategies into action plans as well as understanding long term trends
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Strong project management skills and able to deliver results under pressure
