World leading pharmaceutical company with one of the most innovative pipeline in oncology, CNS, infectious diseases, cardiovascular… is looking for a policy/comms professional to join the team for a two years FTC.

World leading pharmaceutical company with one of the most innovative pipeline in oncology, CNS, infectious diseases, cardiovascular… is looking for a policy/communication professional to join the team for a two years FTC.

The role is office based, full time for a very stable FTC (2 years) and offer opportunity to develop your skills within a very fast changing political landscape working for brilliant pharmaceutical company.


What is the client offering?
• Fixed 2 years contract (Start date ASAP, end date 31.12.19)
• Annual salary of 25K – 35K BOE

Daily responsibilities and main roles:
As an executive in the team will report to the Director and will support his activities by:
• Monitoring the healthcare political landscape
• Supporting the development of relevant compliance procedures and providing internal trainings
• Mapping and engaging with a number a of stakeholders
o Internally: informing of key current issues, providing political and policy counsel across the business;
o Externally: providing support on industry group engagement including ABPI, APG and others
• Coordinating meetings, briefing materials for key meetings/engagement opportunities;
• Facilitating visits from both internal and external stakeholders
• Developing of briefing materials;


You are our perfect match if you have:

• Educated at Degree level in a relevant field: public policy, healthcare management…
• 6 months – 3 years’ experience built in healthcare in a relevant role (policy, communications, PR…)
• Good understanding of the UK healthcare political and policy environment
• Strong written and communication skills + IT literate
• Strong research, briefing and market monitoring skills
• Positive and can-do attitude
