A leading global biotech company is seeking a Global Market Access Franchise Head to join their team in Switzerland, to take care of either the Genetic Diseases or Haematology franchise.

Requirements:

A leading global biotech company is seeking a Global Market Access Franchise Head to join their team in Switzerland, to take care of either the Genetic Diseases or Haematology franchise.  Whilst providing expertise in market access and collaborating with relevant colleagues from different departments, you would have the opportunity to work closely with the VP and work on abstract problems across functional areas of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a POC for all market issues and activities assigned to products in the franchise, including interaction with Business Development and Due Diligence teams.
  • Coordinate all market access initiatives for the products across all regions.
  • Lead the identification and prioritisation of strategic opportunities to expand portfolio and product value proposition for products in the franchise.
  • Identify future trends in market access and develop strategic initiatives to maximise commercial success of products.
  • Work closely with the VP for alignment of product strategy to the company portfolio.
  • Take a key role in interactions with external stakeholders to advocate the value of the products.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree and an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Pharmacoeconomics and Epidemiology.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in market access, including global, regional and country exposure.
  • A solid track record in the development of PR&A strategies.
  • Expertise in market access with an understanding of how market access influences product development and lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of key HEOR principles and familiarity with dossiers.
  • Ability to convert evidence into clear value messages.
