Overview
As a member of the Management Team, the Associate Director will be responsible for driving the direction and development of this highly successful healthcare agency. The Associate Director should be an advocate for the company internally and externally and will be called upon to drive new business process and be responsible for leading new business pitches.

Responsibilities
* Develop communication strategies and support the Senior Account Director/Account Director to do so.
* Taking responsibility for communicating primary account/programme objectives and strategy, both to clients and to the team.
* Maintain and share key contacts with the team. Maintain excellent relationships with influencers, third parties, key senior client contacts and journalists.
* Ensure that the delivery of campaigns and events across the team is to the highest standard through reviewing materials on a regular basis and advising on approach.
* Lead annual client reviews with the director to make continuous improvement to client service.
* Oversee and review programme budgets.
* Demonstrate coaching expertise and take every opportunity to provide guidance and support to all team members.
* Own and lead new business pitches, with support from the Director as appropriate.

Requirements
* Over 8 years of industry experience in public relations.
* Life sciences degree, BSc or higher.
* Proven ability to combat a variety of difficult and challenging assignments.
* Ability to build, manage and maintain client relationships.
* Sound operational and financial management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated professional/technical leadership.
