My Client is working exclusively with RBW Consulting. They are a successful London-based contract research organisation (CRO). They are offering the opportunity to progress your SAS skills and work on all aspects of SAS programming within a CRO environment.   Excellent prospects to expand the role and develop within the company.

Requirements:

A rapidly expanding CRO is also a great place to work. My Client and I are searching for an experienced statistical programmer to be office based in the West London area being part of a team of five.

We’re looking for an experienced SAS programmer (Experienced) who’ll support programming activities related to the analysis and reporting of data from clinical trials:

Candidate specification

  • Educated to degree level within a computing, science or mathematical subject
  • 2+ years' SAS programming experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
  • An understanding of CDISC standards in both SDTM and ADaM
  • Hands-on experience manipulating data using SAS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A clear thinker with a logical approach
  • Hard-working with a positive attitude
  • Aptitude for learning and developing your skill set
  • Experience of statistical analysis plans would be an advantage
  • Project and/or people management skills would be helpful

Additional requirements

  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Highly organised and able to take responsibility for own work
  • Good eye for detail
  • Ability to develop new skills quickly

Responsibilities

  • Planning, developing and validating SAS programs
  • SDTM and ADaM dataset creation
  • Production of tables, listings and figures
  • Data interrogation and exploratory data analysis
  • Maintenance of in-house programming standards
  • Communication with clients and team members
