Senior Clinical Project Manager - Permanent - New York City Are you an experienced Clinical Project Manager looking to make the next move in your career? i-Pharm Consulting are working with a midsized CRO based in New York City to grow their team of Clinical Research Associates. Our client has successfully conducted several high-profiled trials and have become the preferred vendor or choice for many well-known Pharmas. They can offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to work on a variety of studies and give them the chance to progress their career in 2018.

Role Responsibilities and Scope:
• Management of Global Phase II studies
• Liaise with the sponsor to update them on progress and timelines
• Forecast and manage budget and resource allocation within operational objectives of your designated geographical region
• Hold financial responsibility, tracking costs and budgets
• Cross-functional line management responsibilities
• Bid defense activities
• Provide support to commercial teams, contributing to proposal and marketing material

To be suitable for this role you will:
• A BSc or BA degree in a biomedical or related life science
• Excellent understanding of the principles of project management
• Good clinical knowledge with an understanding of medical terminology
• 5 – 6 years’ experience as a Project Manager
• Ability to work independently
• Experience working in an international team environment under time and resource pressures.
• Good computer literacy with working knowledge of PCs, Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Proven leadership experience of integrated teams
• Ability to represent an organisation within the medical industry and be the face of the company to the vendors / CROs
• Understanding of cultural aspects relevant to working in an international environment

Person must be office based at our client’s offices in New York City
