Job Summary:

Our client is a mid-sized international biopharmaceutical company with a patient centric approach currently seeking an Associate Director level within Promotional Regulatory Affairs to be based in Oxford, UK. You will become an internal expert in regulations related to the promotion of prescription pharmaceutical products at the global level by providing strategic direction and regulatory leadership for commercial activities.

Role/ Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the promotion for products while complying with company policies and SOPs and maintaining consistency in the information regarding efficacy and risks
  • Provide support and guidance on marketing strategies and promotion objectives by reviewing the promotional materials to satisfy regulations and corporate standards
  • Review international promotional materials from a regulatory point of view and determine training needs for stakeholders
  • Provide support for the update and approval of SOPs, including integration of local processes and standards
  • Provide expertise regarding the implications of commercial campaigns, clinical study designs and compliance issues
  • Stay up to date with current regulations, codes of practice and policy issues in the pharmaceutical industry, especially those related to advertising and promotion

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is a must, advanced degree preferred
  • At least 8 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including direct experience in advertising and promotional material
  • Extensive knowledge of IFPMA, EFPIA and ABPI regarding advertising codes
  • Ability to take a big-picture approach and interest of the company as a whole in decision making and corporate strategies
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
