Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are currently recruiting for a Senior CRA. This candidate would be a member of a highly professional organisation and an important member of the Clinical, Medical & Regulatory department, reporting to the Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Director.  

The Job

The role of the Senior CRA is to ensure that high quality global development clinical trials are conducted in Ireland in compliance with the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements and company policies. The role also acts as the primary point of contact between clinical trial site staff and the company, taking leadership of the site management and recruitment targets in addition to building strong relationships with investigators and their teams. This Senior CRA role will also include responsibility for coordinating and scheduling operations and team activities.

The role will be based out of our Dublin office, with travel within Ireland on a regular basis, as well as occasional travel within Europe.

Qualifications

  • Should hold a Life Science degree or equivalent and must have experience of monitoring and managing clinical trials in accordance with ICH-GCP requirements, good understanding of clinical trial methodology and up to date knowledge of the clinical trials environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain good relationships with sites.
  • Responsible, accountable, have high focus on timely delivery, concern for detail and quality of data. 
  • Proven decision making and problem solving capabilities and an ability to work both independently and as a proactive team member. 
  • Be able to demonstrate an aptitude with specialist IT systems (MS Office, MS Project, PowerPoint), have good planning & organisational skills as well as effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Look for a customer oriented personality with high degree of ethics and ambition; ability to manage multiple priorities and willingness to adjust quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment.
  • You must hold a valid driving licence and be flexible to meet the mobility requirement of this pivotal role.
