Our client is a global and leading pharma with a focus on developing oncology therapies. They are looking to secure the services of a Clinical Research Project / Study Manager to be based in their Hertfordshire office within a permanent role.
The focus for this position is the set up and running of oncology studies (including investigator initiated studies).

Salary:
Up to £70,000 per annum package (inclusive of bonus) plus pension and healthcare

Job role:
Within this CPM / Clinical Study Manager position the successful applicant will be focused on setting up and managing oncology studies, further key responsibilities include:
- Management of Investigator Initiated Studies - regular sponsor liaison
- Stakeholder liaison
- Ethics submissions
- Document development
- Budget / timeline management
- Provision of operational and study management expertise

Ideal experience / skills:
The ideal Clinical Study / Trial / Project Manager will have circa 5 or more years of experience within clinical research and from a traditional background with 2 or more years' experience as a CRA/monitor prior to becoming a Project Manager. Summary of experience required:
- 5 years' experience or more within clinical research
- Ideally 2 or more (recent) years' experience as a clinical project manager / lead
- Prior CRA/Monitoring experience
- Experience within phases II-IV
- Oncology experience - essential
- Experience of setting up and managing Investigator Initiated Trials (IIS)
- Excellent communications, interpersonal and liaison skills
