Job Summary:

As Project Manager Rare Diseases, you will take full responsibility for managing cross-functional projects to ensure the successful launch of mogamulizumab in the UK and Ireland.

As Project Manager Rare Diseases, you will take full responsibility for managing cross-functional projects to ensure the successful launch of mogamulizumab in the UK and Ireland. 


  • Manage cross-functional projects to support market access to mogamulizumab in UK +IRE
  • Develop launch plans for CTCL and future indications, line extensions and formulations
  • Produce and monitor the implementation of strategic pre-launch and post-launch plans, ensuring that stated objectives are met on schedule and within approved budgets
  • Develop and maintain contact with internal and external stakeholders, with particular focus on developing relationships with MSLs, Medical Director and Product Specialist in Medical Affairs.
  • Participate in relevant franchise core team meetings and proactively collaborate with other professionals in the mogamulizumab franchise - sharing best practices, working on cross-border initiatives and helping develop a global approach
  • Develop annual and five year local forecasts for mogamulizumab, in line with International forecasts
  • Proactively maintain and update therapeutic area, competitor and local market access knowledge
  • Lead the selection and management and training of agencies
  • Etc.

Post-launch - additional responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the mogamulizumab local marketing strategy and brand plan, in line with International Marketing frameworks
  • Gather continuous intelligence on brand performance, competitors and customer attitudes, proposing appropriate actions as the market environment for product change
  • In line with International Marketing frameworks, develop promotional materials and continuously appraise the material's effectiveness and adherence to appropriate Codes of Practice.

About you

  • A degree in life sciences (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Oncology and/or Dermatology therapeutic area(s)
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in product/brand management (or equivalent)
  • Previous Project Management experience is preferable
  • Previous rare disease expertise is preferable
  • Likely to have demonstrated a minimum of 3 years' exceptional marketing success across a portfolio of products
  • Fully trained on the local Code of Practice
  • You must speak good English, have excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to work cross-functionally
  • You will be part of a small multi-disciplinary team and therefore the ability to be proactive, flexible and a team player are essential requirements
