To strengthen our Biologics Clinical Manufacturing Team, based in our Biologics Pilot Plant in Braine L'Alleud, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of: Head Biological Process Engineering .

    As a UCB 'drivethusiastic' person and Head Biological Process Engineering you will contribute by:

 

  •  Participating to the booming transition from development to commercial of UCBs pipeline new biologics
  •  Be the ambassador of UCBs development manufacturing processes to our commercial manufacturing network
  • Aggregate, leverage and coordinate the scientific knowledge acquired by our development organization to make UCB manufacturing processes best in class
  •  Work with the network of Bio experts in Bio within UCB and its industry network
     

    Interested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

 

  •  Masters Degree in BioEngineering, Biochemical Engineering or related discipline
  •  At least 10years of experience in running, designing or supporting cell-based manufacturing activities of biologics drug substances at industrial scale
  •  Sound knowledge of technologies and unit operations involved in upstream and downstream bio processing
  •  Practical experience with technology transfers, scale-up/Scale-down and optimization of processes
  •  Engaged, enthusiastic and passionate spirit, able to drive others
  •  Excellent organization and project management skills
  •  Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
