Job Summary:

Clinical Operations Manager – Study Start Up – Global Pharma – Munich – Up to €70,000 P/A + Benefits + Bonus – Zero Travel – Management of Clinical Operations – Coordination of submissions – Oversight of study budgets including contract negotiations and site payments


Ideal for a Senior/Lead CRAs or CTM/SSU/Site Managers with around 4 years’ experience good knowledge of submissions process to IEC/IRBs, and a fluency in German and English,

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Professional looking to make the step into Clinical Management and work directly for one of the leading global pharmaceutical organisations. As the successful candidate you will lead the Clinical operations on a country level with a focus on Study Start Up. Your responsibilities would include development and negotiation of budgets including oversight of payments, oversight of country submissions (cooperating with EC’s & IRBs), Collaboration with Clin Ops, Finance and Legal departments amongst others.

This role is office based in Munich but offers home based flexibility when needed along with a salary of €70,000 + bonus & benefits including fantastic training and development. This is a very rare opportunity to work directly for a global sponsor and work on a range of complex studies including Oncology and Orphan drugs.

As the successful candidate, you can expect the following responsibilities:

  • Oversight of Country Clinical operations with a focus on study start up
  • Development & negotiation study budgets, including oversight of payments
  • Execution of country submissions & Development of ICF - Communication with IRB/IECs
  • Cooperation with Clin Ops, Finance and Legal departments ensuring deliverables are obtained for submissions, budgets, and timelines
  • Oversight and coordination of local processes including supplies & logistics

Skills Required

  • 4 years Clinical Research experience (CRO or Pharma Considered)
  • Good knowledge of submissions process
  • Oncology experience would be an advantage
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Profound knowledge of all ICH-GCP Protocol and any local regulations
  • Ability to work from an office in Munich (home based flexibility required)
