Clinical Research Associate - Midsized Pharma - Gene Therapy - Greater Boston Area i-Pharm Consulting are working with a midsized Pharmaceutical client based in the Greater Boston area to grow their team of Clinical Research Associates.


Our client is a boutique Biopharma working within Gene Therapy. They have been involved in several ground-breaking discoveries over the last number of years and continue to grow their portfolio of products within the area of Gene Therapy. Clinical Research Associate

Office based, Greater Boston MA

• Your daily tasks will include independent routine monitoring, pre-study and site initiation visits, close-out of clinical sites, as well as site and registry management.
• Required to write reports and follow-up on serious adverse events, while also reviewing the project’s progress and initiating necessary actions to ensure targets are achieved.
• You may serve as the lead monitor for a protocol or project and be actively involved in the development of monitoring plans.
• You will also be required to interact with internal work groups to evaluate needs, resources and timelines, while also organising and making presentations at Investigator Meetings
• You will mentor more junior CRAs and conduct co-monitoring visits where required

• You will have previously worked within an esteemed CRO or Pharmaceutical company
• You will have extensive previous clinical research monitoring experience, which will include pre-study, initiation, routine monitoring and site close-outs
• You will be educated to degree level (life sciences preferred) or a related allied health profession certificate.
• You will have at least two years of independent monitoring experience according to protocol guidelines, S.O.P.s, GCP and ICH, as well as an in-depth understanding of SAE reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount
