Requirements:

My client is a current market leading, global and scientific communications agency looking for some skilled and visionary Medical Writers to join and lead their own vibrant team.

They specialise in working closely with clients to create communications that engage experts to help change attitudes and clinical practice, delivering work of the highest quality globally and regionally! Some of their strongest partnerships are with the most successful life science companies such as Roche, Merck, AstraZenica and more: making this opportunity a very exclusive and exciting one!

The Role

To be a member of the management team, participating and contributing in meetings and discussions that affect day-to-day management, direction and success of the entire business, whilst being able to ensure the editorial team deliver high quality project work to clients. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing own written output but also the less experience Medical Writers documents
  • Taking, interpreting and implementing project briefs and feedback from clients/opinion leaders
  • To act as an in-house scientfic expert for assigned therapy areas, maintaining and updating relevant knowledge
  • Liasing with team members to manage communications, expectations and demands of clients
  • Negotiating changes to project specifications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues and external authors.
  • Assist the team in monitoring actual writing hours/costs against those being budgeted
  • Identify resourcing issues and work with management team to implement solutions.

Requirements

  • 3 Years or more experience in Medical Writing
  • Previous experience liasing closely with Clients
  • Previous Publications, Abstracts, Reports, Manuscripts
  • Project Management Experience is Desirable
