They develop and manufacture medical X-ray systems used in the treatment of cancers, and are a pioneer in the development of advanced X-Ray systems for pre-clinical radiation biology research.

My client a global Medical Device company is currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to develop the South/East of Germany as a direct market and the Nordics, Austria, Switzerland and France through Distributors. They develop and manufacture medical X-ray systems used in the treatment of cancers, and are a pioneer in the development of advanced X–Ray systems for pre-clinical radiation biology research.

Duties include:
-Take full responsibility for the maximisation of sales within the assigned region. Working with sales leadership and service support to promote the technology to potential new customers and ensuring first class ongoing service to existing customers.
-Developing the South/East of Germany as a direct market and the Nordics, Austria, Switzerland and France through Distributors.
-Be familiar with CRM and maintain a certain level of up to date reporting towards the Line Manager.
-Up to 60% travel required through the assigned territories.
-To do Application trainings in Radiotherapy Departments.
-Self Sufficient in planning the weeks and make sure that KPI’s are achieved.

Ideal candidate:
-Demonstrable track record of sales success.
-Experience of effectively promoting and selling capital equipment products.
-A hunter mentality and the willingness to work tirelessly and autonomously to reach sales milestones.
-Fluent in German and English (Other languages beneficial)
-Radiotherapy Background beneficial but not a must.
-You can be based anywhere in Germany for this role.
