Role: Clinical Research Associate II / Senior CRA

Location: Madrid

Following the exciting news of opening their Spanish office, this exciting CRO is now building a Clinical Team and is looking for experienced CRAs from CRA II to Senior CRA level. As they are building a brand new team, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a changing, dynamic environment where you will be a key player in successfully establishing the team in Spain.

 

The company are a small but global CRO who are leaders in cutting edge research and are dedicated to the growth of their people. They are known in the industry for their above market average trial completion rate, where 95% of their trials are completed on or ahead of schedule. They also have a staff turnover below 12% globally and have won awards for being one of the best CROs in the world.

 

Job Description:

  • Perform site visits and monitor activities in accordance with protocol, GCP/ICH Guidelines, and other applicable regulatory requirements (feasibility through to close out).
  • Support network for the CRA/CTA team.
  • Mentor CRAs on monitoring, internal procedures, and query resolution.
  • Use expertise and judgement to identify and resolve complex site issues and deficiencies in documentation, communication, and the need for additional training.
  • Assess and ensure overall integrity of study and adherence to guidelines, protocols, and regulations.
  • Evaluate overall performance of site and site staff.

 

You Will Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years (24 months) of solid independent monitoring as a CRA in Spain
  • At least 2 years of experience in one of the following therapeutic experience is ESSENTIAL: Gastroenterology, oncology, hematology, infectious disease, rare disease
  • Life sciences Degree
  • SSU experience would be a bonus
  • Phase I-III trials experience
  • Experience in mentoring JCRAs for Senior CRA
