Job Summary:

An ideal candidate will have atleast 3 years previous medcomms account manager experience, with extensive knowledge of Oncology, Diabetes and other Specialised areas. An opportunity to work closely with the Account Director, gaining key industry knowledge.

Requirements:

My client is an international agency who are especially renowned for providing the best end to end solutions to huge clients such as: Novartis, Gilead, Roche, Merck and more: the list is endless! 

They are looking for an account manager to join their friendly and vibrant team to drive management of the day to day aspects of running the key programmes. An ideal candidate will have atleast 3 years previous medcomms account manager experience, with extensive knowledge of Oncology, Diabetes and other Specialised areas.

The Person

Apply if you have:

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills
  • Have ability to completely write different styles of materials such as contact/meeting reports, day to day correspondence and briefs
  • Be able to prepare a good first draft of project proposals, scientific meeting reports, slide sets, AV presentations, and others
  • Are up to date with the current market trends and patterns, and be able to keep up to date with the client industries
  • Have very good organisation skills
  • Be able to maintain good relationships with clients, key opinion leaders and team mates. 
  • 3-5 years previous account management experience within the medcomms industry

The Role

Your key responsibilities will include working closely with the Account Director, contributing to the advance planning of weekly activities, setting up meetings (internal and external), overseeing the development of monthly status reports and contributing to the financial aspects of the programmes.

Other responsibilities you will be faced with are:

  • Working effectively as a team player, helping that work is all managed appropriately 
  • Manage project implementation as appropriate
  • Help to estimate fees and costs
  • Attend monthly billing meetings and comply with company systems
