Position Purpose

The Logistics Co-ordinator is responsible for the day-to-day general administration of the Customer Operations Team, including issue resolution, third party supplier co-ordination and management of marketing materials and fitting sets.

Major Accountabilities

Inventory management, fitting sets and marketing materials (third party warehouse) Back order information maintenance and communication to Operations and Sales force Monthly financial reporting on inventory and consignment stock Private Label support, stock maintenance and ordering Raise purchase orders and purchasing queries relating to Supply Chain Third party supplier support: failed order resolution, delivery schedules, re-work and stock enquires Third party supplier meetings, including contracts and price negotiation, monthly reviews and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reviews Key account delivery management working with National Account team and Euro logistics Support the Marketing department in new promotions and products Provide logistical support to the Sales force, taking orders and queries over the phone Provide logistical support to Operations, updating on delivery issues, out of stock lenses and updating Supply Chain Intranet site as appropriate Point Of Sale (POS) queries from Sales force and Operations department Business Operations SAP transactions Business Warehouse (BW) Reporting Cancelled order resolution, preventing more errors, reporting errors to correct management Open orders and key account open orders Processing failed delivery workflow through SAP Non Conformance management Credit and Debit handling, working with Finance and AR departments Failed delivery reporting to third party suppliers Administration of staff/FOC orders Any other duties or projects as requested by the Line Manager commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this role, for which the associate has the necessary experience and/or training

Minimum requirements

GCSE Level Qualification or equivalent – desired English Experience of supply chain function in an FMCG environment Experience of working in a busy, fast paced office environment Experience of dealing with third party organisations and suppliers Knowledge of Process Mapping Experience of working cross-culturally Working knowledge and experience of SAP
