Here at Syneos Health we are currently recruiting for a HR Manager (Generalist) for a 6 month fixed term contract.

Requirements:

Due to the recent creation of Syneos Health from two industry leading CROs, INC Research and inVentiv Health, we currently require an experienced HR Manager/Generalist to provide interim support at this exciting time in the company’s evolution.

In this position you will be both working across a number of business critical projects and providing employee relations support for our UK & Ireland workforce. This opportunity will offer you the chance to utilise your proven HR experience across a broad range of areas whilst working within a dynamic and fast moving environment.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Take an active role in understanding the business and employee issues
  • Ensure that HR policies and processes are consistently administered and follow required legislation
  • Facilitate employee relations issues and provide coaching and conflict resolution to managers and employees
  • Perform assigned project work
  • Manage and maintain reporting requirements
  • Assist with other HR areas, make recommendations for improvements and perform other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will need the following experience / skills /qualifications to be considered:

  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist for the UK & Ireland, including strong operational knowledge of human resources subjects (e.g. labour law, talent management, HR strategy) and with up to date legislative knowledge
  • Proven Employee Relations experience
  • Solid Project Management skills and experience with change management
  • Advanced communication & interpersonal skills, including negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Possess or studying towards CIPD (or similar qualification)
  • Previous experience within a matrixed organisation and supporting multiple stakeholders, ideally with some experience providing HR support  across other EU countries
  • Previous experience within Pharmaceuticals/CRO/Professional Services (desirable)

The position will be offered as a 6 month fixed term contract, in the first instance, and will be based from our UK office in Surrey, with the requirement to spend time within our UK office in Berkshire until May 2018. Please note that due to the urgency of this position, we are unable to consider candidates with a notice period/availability to start in excess of 1 month.
